Hello again…
My dad passed away a few months back and left behind three Emmons D10 guitars. I am listing a beautiful 1992 Emmons Lashley LeGrande guitar here. We also have a 1989 25th Anniversary listed here: http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=321241. I intend to post the 1968 Rosewood in another week or so.
Per dad’s records, this guitar was ordered from Jack Strayhorn on September 6, 1992. I believe we were once again at Scotty’s Steel Guitar Convention in St. Louis when he ordered the guitar from Jack.
Dad did not play out at that time so the guitar was setup in his living room where he would play it occasionally for his own enjoyment. As with the 1989, this guitar is in new condition as it never left the house and no one could go near it! The guitar may have remained out of the case for a year or so after he received it, and has been in the case since late 1993 at the absolute latest. I have tested the electronics and all work well. Dad loved these guitars and kept them in perfect condition.
Here are the details from the original order:
1992 Emmons Lashley LeGrande LD10L Serial #922L
Derby White Mica
Extra 9th Pedal
Extra 5th, 6th, and 7th knee levers
Cush Case hardshell case
I have attached a few photos and have more if desired.
We are asking $3500 including ground shipping to the continental US. The guitar is located near Los Angeles, CA and will ship from there.
Thanks for taking a look!

Great price. FWIW. Except for the decal. That is indeed a LeGrande II. You Emmons players know this. Some of the other players may not. This one makes me wish I needed a guitar.

This is a II, but keep in mind that this model was built for a while before the decal was changed. This guitar is in its original form with this decal. |

I am offering your full price to buy the Emmons steel. If no one else is offering full price and I am the first to do so does that mean the guitar is mine to buy.......? |
