No examples but I've been known to use a "Tube Screamer" with my dobro performance rig.
I know I'm not the only guy/gal that does this!

| When I played with Lonestar we had a song called "doghouse" that had a dobro solo that had distortion and a wahwah pedal. Pretty cool tune and great parts. Russ Pahl played on the record. You can get a copy on iTunes. |

Here is one that I like a lot. This is a live version, unfortunately it is cut off in the middle. I'm not sure what kind of guitar is is but it looks more like a solid body.

Cheri Knight is one of my big favorites, a great singer/songwriter/bass player and the kind of woman I could fall in love with. I wonder what happened to her, somewhere I've read she gave up performing and went back to gardening. |
