Fixed it.
I sit in with this band sometimes. We are working up a couple of sets.
I used the B9 pedal by ElectroHarmonics. _________________ RICK ABBOTT

Thanks, Joachim.
Getting used to that pedal, finally. The input is very sensitive and steel guitar pickups are high enough output to overload it. Picking out over the fretboard helps as does the coil-tap. Still, if I had to do it over, I'd have bought the C9 instead of the B9 because the C9 has more useful settings. But it's starting to work out. I wish the first song we played would have been mixed right at the board, it had actual steel-playing...better luck next time. We are invited back to the place. _________________ RICK ABBOTT
