So excited about this!!!

I searched for a while for an Emmons ST-12 in almost any "non-trashed" condition to make my own so I could take it out and about. Lynn Stafford has worked his magic and now this my lovely Extended E9 honey. Thanks, Lynn!

I can't wait to play it out next weekend!

Really loving the Extended E-9...

Yes, Jeff, he's top flight all the way. I have gladly paid high shipping costs to ensure his knowledge and skill get my steels where I want them to be. A real class act.

Congrats. I've got a blue mica ST-12 push pull myself. Always to have that low E for comps.

I keep wondering if a musician in the brass section of a big band, upon receiving a new instrument, celebrates by saying "NEW GUITAR DAY!!"

Brandon,

I just wanted to say thanks for your very kind words about your ST-12 Emmons. I saw the photo in your other post of you playing it out on the bandstand, so that's great!

I'm just curious; How do you like that Telonics #427 pickup I installed? If anyone is curious, the #427 is their 12 string version of the 10 string #409.

I also want to acknowledge my friend, Jeff Garden's kind words as well. Thanks very much, Jeff... I hope things are going well with you.

Lynn,

You're welcome! I hadn't visited this post in a while. For the record, I love the 427! It's everything one could hope for. Clear, warm tone and no 60 cycle hum. I'd recommend Telonics to anyone. I feel that Dave, Sophie, et al are the best I've experienced in the pedal steel electronics business.

When I bought my amp, Dave was exceedingly helpful and generous with his time and expertise to help ensure I got a great tone from it.

Mike Scaggs,

Thanks for the kind words. I've been watching the progress on your PP projects and admiring your work.

Brandon,

Thanks for the update on the Telonics pickup. Glad to hear you are happy with it. Here are a couple of photos showing it installed.

I just installed a pair of 409's in a '70 D-10 PP that I restored. It sounds incredible!
