I just received the Sho-Bud Jerry Byrd Frypan lap steel. The Serial number is B013. I'm wondering if anyone has any info on this guitar. The Certificate of Limited Edition is completed with the name Roger Turcotte with a date of July 30 1979. The guitar was shipped from Clarksville, TN.

Any info will be greatly appreciated. Pictures below.

Can't help with the frypan, but I'm wondering if the pedal steel shown in your first picture is the same one as shown in this picture?

Mitch:

After looking at the picture I think it is. I purchased the guitar from Mr. Isaacs several years ago. I was living in Cambodia at the time and flew into Las Vegas, met my brother and we drove to Yuma to pick it up. We had a very enjoyable afternoon visiting with Bud and Geri. Bud was really a story teller.

I'm a little curious too.
Your long scale (B) frypan has different knobs than mine, #B049.
Did the lower numbers have them, or are they replacements?
Don't know about Roger.

Ron,

I first posted a comment that I thought that two different knobs may have been used. I am now not sure. After posting I looked at the guitar and I now think they may have been replacements. Not sure.
