I was thrilled to find this on you tube! I don't knoe the gentlemen who recorded and posted it, but to watch Lloyd for an entire set, wow....I was in Heaven for sure!

There is a demand for real music like this that is not currently being satisfied. Around here, people who like this kind of stuff have nowhere to go, and they're gradually making their presence felt. It will probably never be "the flavor of the month" in terms of big numbers - it never really was. But I'll be happy if there is simply a place to play with an appreciative audience to play for.

This is only my 3rd day on the forum....lol I could listen to somebody pick the steel all day everyday, in style or not. A lot of supposed country music of today is not country at all IMHO. I'll take some good old steel guitar, a couple fiddles and an upright bass anyday!
