Sadly, Tom Palmer passed away suddenly a few weeks ago.

If not out of business, the company is certainly in limbo for the time being.

Bought one off FleaBay after the sad news, and it was delivered quite expeditiously. Hope they stay available.

That's good news! Tom might have had a line of succession in place.

From what I gathered I don't think Tom actually did the making of the covers. He had another person (partner?) that did that. Maybe he will continue with the company?

I have several D2F covers including a couple of custom fit covers.

Sad to hear of his passing. The covers have had good reviews on here.

Kevin, another option for you might be Sharp Covers Nashville. I have no connection except as a customer, but since your first choice sadly is not presently available you might give them a look. I have bought 3 from her and am very satisfied. Leann is helpful, and the price, service and finished product were fine.

The business is still making covers however they have placed some things on hold for now while they catch up and get themselves together. So, sit tight!

I just ordered a cover for a Marshall yesterday off their website.

I assumed that they'd keep on truckin' after Tom passed.

Sad about Tom, I dealt with him recently on a cover, nicest guy and a great business to work with. I wish them the best.

They are in business. I just received an email from them in reference to an order that I placed. They are just running a little behind. Understandably.

I just received my cover today. Awesome fit. Also, received a nice note thanking me for my business and saying sorry for the delay. No problem as we all understand and are saddened by Tom's passing.

Received my cover that I ordered for the Emmons Grand--just prior Tom leaving us. As always, a perfect fit. I recently ordered another cover for my BMI. I called to check status. They informed me that Tom had passed. Immediately, they asked if I wanted a refund since they knew they would be running behind on orders. I thought was pretty generous of them. I told them to build and ship when they could. I received it shortly thereafter. PERFECT! Tom left the business in good hands. These folks are going to be fine to work with. A patience goes a long way.

I'm sorry to report D2F covers has closed, as of yesterday.

This is direct from Franklin Palmer.

I have several of their covers and always appreciated the high quality of both products and service.

They will be missed. I wish them all the best.

I might get their last cover the way it sounds. A week ago I ordered a cover for my Super Pro. They sent me a tracking number yesterday. I hope it shows up. Could be sending my money back also. Hope to see the cover. They made some great covers.

I did get a email from LeAnn Sharp in regards to my dimensions of my Super Pro. Was over a week ago. I sent her a couple different emails with the size. Never heard back from her. Maybe vacation? Went with D2F.

Cover and Leg Bag arrived today. Beautiful job! I hate to see D2F vanish. Did a great job. I totally understand their loss. No way to fill the void in their lives. God Bless to them R.I.P.

I'm so sad to hear that. I've done a good bit of business with Tom - I think I've bought 8 covers from him over the past 10 years and was planning on getting a couple more.

Bummer. He was such a pleasant fellow to do business with.

Looks like you got the last one, Kevin.

Kudos to D2F for doing the right thing.

I tried to place a custom order and was ready to pay when they informed me that the business was closing and they would not accept my order.

Tom's integrity lives on.

Got my D10 PP cover today in the mail from D2F. Took a few weeks. Glad I ordered it when I did. Maybe a steel manufacturer like MSA will take over the company?
