Have A Mullen Discovery.
Wanting to trade legs for a set of 1" shorter set.
Not sure of other brands that will fit this guitar. Looks like the same thread as most other guitars.

Ron, I need shorter legs, not taller legs.

David,
It raises the steel seat up. It really does the trick for me.

David..May want to check your pedal rods as well. There may not be sufficient adjustment to decrease the rod length to that degree. The obvious choices would then be either shortening the existing units(which may also entail cutting additional threads as well) or purchasing shorter rods..JMO: Ron's suggestion seems to be the simplest and certainly worth a try! Adding one inch thick blocks of wood under the legs of the seat temporarily may give you a general idea of whether or not this results in a viable solution.

I understand the replies. But I have four steel guitars and I want this the same as the others. I will thread the pedal rods up farther and cut off 1". It's not like I don't know what I'm doing. I've worked at Kline and Performance guitars. So I've been around. I am just looking for a trade of legs.

You can send me your legs and rods and I can cut them down at a decent price.

If I'm not mistaken, you can remove the inner section on the leg, drive the threaded plug out of the outer tube, cut the tube to the desired length and reinstall the threaded plug.

yes, but many times the chrome plating will break off the leg and can start to peel off.

I took my legs a rods to a machine shop and they cut them down
with a lathe and re threaded the rods for a total cost of $30.
