Looking to buy a Supro Comet 8 String Lap / console if the price is right. Drop me a PM. Single or Double neck (not sure if both were called "Comet" or not.

I might also entertain a six string version of similar design.

Yeah, that's it. I guess the doubles were the Comet models.

I haven't seen any two neck Airliners. The asymmetrical shape doesn't really lend itself to making it into a double neck. I have seen the triangular shaped 6-strings(maybe Comets) that were made into a double neck by joining them at the hip. They seem a little kludgey compared to the console that Robert is selling but they do have the MOTS covering and the string-through pickup so they they're kinda cool in their own right. I don't think there was ever an 8-string version. I think the guitar that Robert is selling would be more like a professional console than the siamese-twin Supros. Don't know what pickup his has.

The one I would be most interested in would be the 8 string single. I would also consider a six string. Thanks for the responses.

Man, wouldn't you like to be able to go back in time and place a few orders from that old catalog! Smile
