Not sure where to post this. Mods move if needed.
Photobucket changed it's terms of service and wants users to pay $400 per year to allow photos to be linked to from forums like this one. You will see a generic image like this one instead of my photo:
I apologize but I will not be paying Photobucket a penny. I will look for another site to host my photos but for now you will see the ugly generic image.

| Flickr works pretty well for me, also lots of people like Imgur. Photobucket hasn't been working worth a dern for me for about 6 months. |

I started with PB around 2005 and never moved. They have had a lot of sytem issues in the last year. This will kill them for good.

I considered Imgur. However, Imgur's terms of service also prohibit third party hosting:
"Also, don't use Imgur to host image libraries you link to from elsewhere, content for your website, advertising, avatars, or anything else that turns us into your content delivery network. If you do รขโฌโ and we will be the judge รขโฌโ or if you do anything illegal, in addition to any other legal rights we may have, we will ban you along with the site you're hotlinking from, delete all your images, report you to the authorities if necessary, and prevent you from viewing any images hosted on Imgur.com. We mean it."

They can do the same thing that PB did.
Since I have my own web site with unlimited storage, I will be hosting my own photos. It will take me a while to get it set up.

Everyone on Reddit uses Imgur. Maybe they're run by the same company?
If you have your own web site, just upload the pics to your site's home directory and link to them by filename. Make sure that your filenames don't contain spaces or any special characters that wouldn't work in a URL.
For example, I have https://b0b.com/JimmyDay.jpg which looks like this:
Very easy.
