My wife was surprised when she just found out Charley Pride was black (who wasn't, but man, she's really behind the curve). My band mate told me about Tony Jackson, and look what I found, and look who's playing!

I’ve loved this song when I heard it on the radio before I even knew country music existed (Lovin’ Spoonful – 1966 !) _________________ Franklin D10 8&5, Excel D10 8&5, homemade buffer/overdrive, Moyo pedal, GT-001 effects, 2x BAM200 for stereo. 2x GW8003 8" driver in homemade closed-box. If you know your history, "country" music was black long before it was white. |

Franklin at his best, did you take notice he seldom moved off the 3rd fret, cool steeling from Nashville.
Tony had very good twang to this song.
Another black country singer is Stephen Pride, brother of Charlie Pride. |

You know Paul you look like you gained a few pounds, last time I saw you perform in Aramonk, NY around 1988-89 you looked a kinda thin, oh well age does a number to ya.
Me, well I lost about 35 pounds since then, cycling does it for me, 3,000 miles a year and reducing my sugar intake. |
