So I'm a guitarist looking to purchase my first pedal steel. I had access to a sho-bud maverick for a few months and enjoyed it, but would like something newer. I like vintage guitars, but feel that the pedal steel has improved mechanically a bit more since the 70's.
What would y'all recommend? Or could you point me to a post that discusses this? I would like an e9 setup with 3/4 ideally.
Thanks,

There's a Zum Stage One for sale on the Forum as we speak, looks like a good deal to me. |

Thanks for all of the messages. I have a GFI coming my way soon. Hope I can learn to pick it a bit.
