One of my customers has asked me to help him sell his Carter S12 9x5. He has asked me to give an extremely thorough description so the buyer knows EXACTLY what they are getting. Unfortunately the forum member who sold him this (in my opinion) took advantage of his relatively low knowledge of the instrument and charged him an extremely unfair amount of money. I went over the guitar top to bottom and made a list of all the issues I could find. This would be a great project guitar for someone inclined to take it on. This is a great candidate for an Ext. E9th conversion as well. I'm unsure of what would be a fair price on something like this so offers will be considered. On to the list!
p.s. a full cop. chart is pictured/please look at all the photos carefully!!!
Thanks!

1. Front legs have 1 inch spacer added.
2. Pedal rods are 'homemade' to accommodate the leg spacer.
3. LK Levers are too close to fit my leg in between and will need to be adjusted. They are mounted directly to a square cross shaft and I can't find any practical way to easily adjust them.
4. LKV is stripped out and hangs loosely when in the playing position.
5. Cop. appears to be a form of U12 but is otherwise unknown to me.
6. Guitar appears to have had many adjustments made i.e. I doubt it started its' life as a 9x5
7. It appears to have been refinished.
8. Fretboard is not original and the application looks dubious.
9. There is a crack in the cab by the changer most likely caused by reattaching the bridge with a screw that was too long.
10. Cab is separating in the back @ the apron seam.
11. Case is in poor condition but it does protect the guitar well. 2 latches are broken and the tolex is in poor shape.

The guitar has a good sound overall and the changer is functioning properly. It just needs some TLC.
