I'm not sure how one loses a rubber leg tip but I've managed to do it.

Have one - or a set - you'd sell?

Or, what's a good source for buying them new?

Crutch tip, Chris. Bring one to the store for size accuracy. Drug superstore or hardware/homewares store.

Here's a cheap tip. Place a 10 cent piece (dime) into each rubber tip. This will keep the metal leg from cutting into the rubber tips. The rubber tips will last almost forever.

Later, after the bass player has left with the hot chick from the audience, and the drummer is making countless trips to his van, the steel guitar player, after calculating that he made exactly $0 for the gig, has a leg up. He simply retrieves the four dimes from his guitar legs and barters with the bartender for a cup of coffee.

Walmart may have them also, I purchased a set not too long ago. FWIW: I employ a similar method as William except frugal as I am, I choose washers instead of dime coins..A tip along this same line which may prove useful; I carry a small bag of these same washers in my pac seat and if I encounter a slightly less than even surface when setting up, rather than readjust a leg I simply remove the tip and add a sufficient number of washers to level the guitar.

Make sure you get rubber tips, not plastic. Otherwise your guitar will be walking all over hard floors.

+1 for crutch tips. I had to replace the tips on my Walker Pac-A-Seat and they work great. And yep I added the washers too.

Just be aware that adding the washers at least in my case increased the height of my seat ever so slightly.

They come in sizes to fit 1" and 7/8"

Measure the leg size that you have. Mine are 5/8". Walmart has them for $2 a pair.

Many years ago I lent one of my pedal steel guitars to a guy when I decided it was time to get it back I went to his house and all of the tips were missing on all of the legs,When I asked where they were he told me that I had never given them to him,To which I replied that"I've never ever taken leg tips off of any guitar that I've ever owned, and that he needed to go to the drugstore and buy a set of crouch tips otherwise suffer the consequences...I was pissed!

Chris, I assume you got the leg tip but if not I do stock them by the sack full. I have never seen the correct ones in any local store. If you still need help it is easy to get here.
