I just saw this and I am in shock. He never forgot my name, what I played, just everything. He was just a super guy. We discussed our wives passing extensively.......

A sad day indeed. Thanks to Dave Beaty for informing me.

I have sold Tom's great products for years.
I recall & cherish our visits in various airports on our way home from steel shows, covering such issues as steel guitar, health, living, etc.

Tom sill be missed greatly!

Sad day... I only talked to Tom once, but left that conversation impressed with the kind of man he was.

I just got on the forum for the first time in a few days.

I am so sorry to hear of my friend's passing.

Tom was truly one of the "good guys" that dedicated everything he had to helping other people.

He also produced the finest covers ever made. I have them on my amps and will treasure them.

Rest in peace Tom. You will be missed by the music world.

I hope that someone will pick up where you left off and continue your legacy.

I live in Ireland and I extend my sincere condolences to the late Tom's family. I bought two covers from Tom and on both occasions he followed the shipping up with a personal message. Quite a gentleman. Rest in peace, Tom.

So sorry to learn this. Tom was so nice to me the few times we met at the SWSGA show and Dallas. Made a quality product.

Is the business going to continue?

RIP, Tom.

RIP Tom!
When I first met Tom in Dallas, we talked a while he took down my address. In a few weeks I received a packet with a bunch of steel material in it.
I have ordered several amp and steel covers and leg bags. Just received an order weeks before his passing.
He will be greatly missed.
Condolences to his family.

RIP Tom

Not a day goes by, where I don't think about this. Many times a day.

Too many people dying, & sick...especially this month. June has not been kind.

Tom is definitely missed, by MANY!! The amount of steel players that commented on his passing, is the same...or more than many of our steel legends that have passed away. That, says A LOT...about how much he meant to people, & that he was ACTUALLY as great of a person, as people say he was. I've only met a few people, that were as kind, caring & generous...as Tom was.

I wrote him a very heartfelt letter, only a week before he passed away. I had no idea he would be gone, shortly after sending it to him. I am, happy I was able to tell him just how much he meant to me...& I actually compared him to my own Dad. Both were incredible people, who I only wish I was like. Maybe someday, I'll come somewhat close, if I'm very lucky. I would not be one bit surprised, if my Dad & Tom have met...in Heaven. They are both dearly missed!! God bless them both. Amen.

They tell us nit to pass up a chance to tell someone what they mean to you. It's great you did that and I'm sure he was pleased. He was a great gentleman.

Lee,

Thanks for your great reply, I appreciate it! I definitely agree with you, about telling someone what they mean to you. Once they are gone, it's too late!

Yes, Tom was a great gentleman...no doubt. I really miss him! I'm glad I was able to tell him, just how I felt about him...less than a week before his unexpected passing.

Tom Palmer was a friend to everyone it seems. A rarity these days.

I'm not the greatest with a tape measure. I....would measure something wrong, call Tom up half crying like a scoulded dog when it wouldn't fit. I would offer to ship it back and pay for it. He'd tell me nah...just keep it i will just send another one to the correct measurements..... i can't pull up their website, so I take it they decided to stop building covers.
