A 1964 Fender Vibroverb is one of the best of the blackface Fenders, especially if it is one that came with a JBL D-130 in it. Classic AB763 circuit with two 6L6s.

FWIW: Over the past 50 years I have owned way too many amps, some for a very short time: most of the Fenders (still have a Princeton), Crate, Traynor,Music Man, NV112, Marshall, Mesa (still have the stereo 20x20), the first Webb head, still have a Roland 80 for practice and a HK Fusion 500, also currently use a Kemper and a Dr.Z Surgical Steel. All told, I could dump them all and keep the Kemper for its one box convenience and lite weight and the Dr. Z head for its quality sound and 30 lbs ... as for guitar use , the Kemper has more amp profiles than anyone could use and the Dr. Z was a chosen amp by Joe Walsh for his last (and maybe current ) tour, so I guess it passes for guitar. I have not tried the Little Walter of the Milkman amps but I would guess they are also good options...
