i bought a zum off of the internet it was a day set up and i tried to change it over to a emmons set up. i thought i could do it and did i ever do it i screwed things up so bad it took doug 2 hours to get it right. but he did a fantastic job and he is about a nice a person as you could ask for. i can't say enough good about doug earnest. he is a lot like bruce. but now for the gritty doug made this encore sound like a million dollars. i can't see why someone would pay +$3000 for a pro model when this little encore does fine. but he is backed up right now but later if your interested in getting a world class steel give him a hollar. thanks again doug. sid |

I second that. Doug Earnest is a good guy, and I consider him a dear friend. When it comes to steel guitars Doug knows as much if not more than Bruce. |

I third that! Doug is the best. And the fact that he was a trusted assistant to Bruce Zumsteg for many years speaks volumes to me. _________________ Tommy Detamore

My wife and I were visiting Branson about a month ago. I visited both Doug and Keith at their shops. I can't say enough good things about both of these gentlemen. Oh, and if you like GOOD pizza, Doug knows where to find it. |
