I will guess mid 70's.
But change you title to read "dating a ZB Custom" and you will attract the experts.

Cant put an axact date on this until all the records after 68' turn up. Eric is right though. This is a mid 70's ZB. It was built in Phoenix Arizona while Tom Brumley and Bill Simms owned the company. Good looking guitar!!!!
