I'm currently building an 8-string console steel for myself; a good friend (Bobbo, frontman of great SoCal alt.country band THE FALLEN STARS) saw this and asked me whether I could build a steel with a Duesenberg Multibender (he usually plays PSG, but could use something like that for touring and small cafe/pub gigs). Just finished this build for him (my own steel will still take a while, will report back when done!

Thank you! The distance from the top of the deck to the underside of the strings is about 12-13mm (roughly 1/2").
