Scott,
Since your friend doesn't seem to play, or know much about, steel, maybe you could help him figure out the copedant and if all the pedals,etc, work well? I guarantee it would sell to someone here, with a wee bit more info.

hey Jim-
I did go and play the guitar and tuned the pedals and levers, at least on the E9. I don't have the copedent memorized, but could go have another look if necessary.
