Sho-Bud Compactra 100
Amp is currently in Tulsa; he can ship it.

This amp was produced through the mid 60 in very low numbers (45) and voiced
for Steel Guitar. It makes an outstandingly great Jazz or clean guitar amp
with a slight taste of harmonic distortion in its voice. It is a two Channel
combo with great spring/tank Reverb. Point to Point wiring
Mine is fitted with an Altec 418A, Alnico 15" Speaker. The Electronics were
recently re-furbished, capacitors and tubes replaced and all circuits are
functioning perfectly.

I recently used it in a concert driving it with a Telecaster and was blown
away! Its Power to weight ratio is a bit on the heavy side. A combo amp with
an un mistakable sound, it would make a great studio amp or mic'd live for a
purist.
60lbs 26x21x12"

$750 or best offer

These are very good amps, I have an Evans Compactra 100, Evans made these amps for SHO~BUD Co. Looks like someone may have refurbished the cabinet, I never saw one like that one, most came with a JBL speaker. Great clean tone. Good luck with the sale. Jim Goins Smile

I have one of these too. Somebody built a smaller cabinet for it, which makes it much more user friendly. Great amps. Probably not as clean as some modern pickers would want, but if you search YouTube for Ernest Tubb playing Waltz across Texas you'll find a clip of Buddy C. Playing an Emmons through one and it sounds amazing...
