You might try setting all EQ knobs at 12:00 o'clock and then adjust each one individually to achieve your desired tone. This may depend largely on other factors in your set up (type of VP, brand of guitar, pickup, effects used, etc). FYI: Unless your amp has the Fox, Lemay, or factory modifications installed, you may find that you need to cut the mid range knob to around 7;00 or 8:00 to minimize the 'honk' that Peavey amps are known to develop in that frequency range. |
