I am selling this Excellent Sontronics STC-80 Cardioid Microphone from my collection. The Sontronics STC-80 features specially honed electronics and a dynamic coil element housed inside a rugged black body (made from a special brass alloy for its particular resonant qualities) with ergonomic anti-slip grooves, which make it easy to hold for handheld vocal use. This microphone is as new. I am the original owner, i bought it at Full Compass in Wisconsin. Just a great well built cardioid microphone. A great addition to any mic locker.
With the superb response, excellent clarity and super-low handling noise, the Sontronics STC-80 has been engineered to give fantastic results on sung vocals and speech, as well as on amplifier & vocal speaker cabs. For both live and studio use. It is equally impressive on plucked instruments such as banjo and balalaika, acoustic guitars, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica, snare drums, toms, electric guitar and steel guitar amps, and cabs. As well as micing P.A cabs. Because the STC-80 microphone is NOT a condenser mic, no extra 48 volt PA system setups are needed. If i had to compare the STC-80 to another mic, i have found it to be very close to my Shure Beta 58. NOTE! The head, and Windscreen on this microphone have been carefully sanitized. It's all ready to work for ya.
