I used Celestion classic lead 80 speakers for years and always liked them. I would check out the new neo speakers they make also. I have not used them but they have been getting rave reviews from people I respect quite a bit.

My personal favorite is a JBL D120. They have a very particular sound that works for me.

I use a telonics 15" at the moment for my daily live gig work. It sounds okay but not great. No shimmer or clarity. It's light and I can't blow it up though. I did not like there 12" neo at all. Cluttered midrange and a nasty shrill top end. Looked okay on paper but not acceptable sounding to me.

I tried the Eminence EPS-12C speaker. It would be great for a lead Telecaster player. The TT-12 is what the EPS-12C should have been. First gig I played with it, there was no "break in". I played it for two days on my stereo system and played it both Saturday and Sunday evening at Cowboy Church, the little "break in" is what it needed. Although I use the Eminence EPS-15C, the TT-12 is very acceptable alternative for a 12" speaker.

Thanks for the insight. I plan to go with a PF-350. very close second choices are the Double-T or Jupiter Ceramic.

I would be surprised if you are not amazed at the performance of the PF-350
As a signature speaker from Paul Franklin he must have heard some nuance that convinced him to use the heavey ferrite mag, although in all fairness who knows if in the development of the speaker the Neo option was tried , and in further fairness to Travis' Double T if I'd tried his speaker speaker first I might have had the same reaction. I just received my second PF-350 yesterday and look forward to hearing the two of them coupled to the LW-89
Please report back Tom, be interesting

Has anyone tried the PF speaker with anything other than a Little Walter?

I've tried it with my Dr. Z Surgical Steel and the results are equally good, another very good tube steel amp. Solid state stuff from Peavey, no. This speaker is relatively new so I'd venture to say that more applications will come to light as time goes on. This speaker is heavy. The only negative point in the world of the Neo magnets that have become more mainstream for the weight conscience player.
