I'm on the last leg here. Still some loose ends to tie up but Damir is about to get her back when he returns. Ended up making new knee levers as the one's on this guitar were severely butchered...

After all that work Billy did "to improve the tone, sustain, and playability" you would do this?

I told Mike to pour some Rastolium all over inside the guitar, but he refused, he just doesn't understand what it takes to get a good tone Very Happy

No Damir, You don't want to use Rustolium, you want to use a mixture of honey and pancake syrup, to make the guitar sound sweeter.

Ok Mr Damir,

Your guitar is almost ready to go. I need to put on the knee lever stops but decided to wait for you to get home so we can fit the guitar to you. I also wired your 705 with a split coil switch since we had an addition hole in the end plate where a tone pot used to go.

We may have lost all the tone secrets but I think you will be pretty happy with this Excel raised from the dead.

Cheers

When Mr. Raspberry Jam Carr contacts you and finally agrees to refund the $1450 in exchange for the return of this guitar, you will of course do the right thing and send him the guitar, right?

Damir, I'd worry, because that guitar is starting to look right at home at Mike's.
