Hello again.
I bought a Marlen S10 with 3 pedals with CBA set up that I practiced on very little and then loaned to a friend. It was returned with the rods removed from the rack and the bottom mechanisms. The rods are numbered 1,2,3. Are they installed in sequence to the CBA pedal alignment e.g. # 1 rod to C pedal; # 2 rod to B pedal; # 3 rod to A pedal? Does it matter?

I would guess they are 1-2-3 from left to right.
I would try it that way. Then is the pedals are not the way they was before switch 1 and 3. 2 should be in the right place either way.

Generally pedal #1 is closest to the keyhead.
But the rods are adjustable, to fit your particular feet & legs. The numbers are so you know which goes where, after you adjust them.

Pedal rods are adjustable to suit your own range of motion in your own ankles. If you never adjusted them, you will probably want to. Hook them up and see how they feel. Hook them up in the reverse, and see how that feels. Adjust to suit yourself. Being comfortable is important to playing!  . They're adjustable for a reason...we all have individual ranges of motion and preferences. You should be able to depress A without B, and vis versa while your foot covers both pedals by rocking your ankle. Hope this helps.. |
