Does any one use E9 tuning on their 8 string lap steel? if so what are the string sizes? |

Hi
it would be helpful if you spelled out the notes in your particular E9 tuning , as there must be numerous variants , and gave the scale length of your guitar.
Or you could just buy a pedal steel E9 set of strings and discard the strings you don't need. |

Wayne.........this is what Todd used when he strung up my Clinesmith Cast Aluminum steel:
E 15
B 18
G# 22
F# 26 wound
D 34
B 38
G# 44
E 56
