Speedy West made Lloyds case and gave it to him several years ago.

I had always wanted one but wasn't sure where it came from. A couple of days ago, I stumbled onto this and confirmed it with Lloyd this is the case. It is the perfect size for bar and picks. It comes unfinished and un-tooled.

I have been looking around, locally, for one of these for years. I use a cloth one, but leather is so much cooler-looking. Thanks!

I have a leather one very similar to the one pictured on the web site. The only difference is that mine has a tooled flower on both sides. I have no idea where or just when I got it. I'll try to post a pic later.

Since I live in the Virgin Islands, shipping a single item like that is often cost-prohibitive - but I shop with Amazon alot - they ship USPS to here at cheap rates and I can combine a number of items I need. Sure enough, Amazon sells them too.

How much making do you have to do? They look ideal but I don't fancy myself doing stitching!

Roger,

I think that is the plastic lanyard chord we use to use for crafts as kids that you stitch it with - pretty simple. There is a video link on the page the OP linked - it shows you how to make it. It is just plain leather unless you have stamps or some other way to tool the leather.

Thanks, Douglas - maybe I'll risk it.

[img]Here is a picture of the pick pouch I have had for years. I didn't do the stitching or tooling and I don't remember where I got it. Probably at one of the steel shows years ago.

You can do it Roger, summer camp stuff, really, if they have camp in England.

Then you could get you some leather tools and have a nice little cottage industry. "Lloyd Green's Bar and Pick Case."
Shouldn't be hard to find a pedal steel die.
