A while ago I rebuilt a ZB with regular cross shafts so I have quite a pile of parts, what do you need? |

Are you sure it's a ZB?
From what I can tell from the pictures, it sure doesn't look like any ZB I've seen. |

Wow...
Pedals look right. Knees look like really late ZB. Changer looks possible. (Need view of end plate)
The concept looks like it is related to ZB (balanced on the cross shaft)
Did someone modify a ZB?
Please post a pic of the changer end. _________________ "To live outside the law you must be honest." (Bob Dylan) |

I see it now - someone bolted a mounting plate on top of the original, and installed different cross shafts. It was a ZB (student model?) _________________ "To live outside the law you must be honest." (Bob Dylan) |

Doesn't look like a student model. They were just a single neck as far a I know. It looks like a pro ZB except for the undercarriage parts. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, NV400, NV112 . Playing for 54 years and still counting. |

I agree with Erv. Does not look like any ZB I have seen. _________________ 2006 Zum D10 8x8,1969 ZB Custom D10,

The body looks like a ZB. The pedals and pedal bar are ZB. That's where the cosmetic similatities end for me.
The top side doesn't look like a ZB. Although I think the later models got rid of the fins. Never saw a metal neck on one, but that could have been possible too.
Changer and rods look ZB. The pull train with the yokes look like a homemade imitation of ZB parts. Probably made to fit the cross shafts that don't appear to be stock.
Looks as though it started life as a double neck. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, NV400, NV112 . Playing for 54 years and still counting. |
