How much pedal travel do you guys like? Measured from where your foot pushes the pedals on the A,B and C pedals. What kind of guitars are these on? |

The trouble with answering a question like this is twofold. For one, it's tough to measure. And for the other, it's very much a question of personal geometry, shoe size, etc. so it ends up as another what-suits-you.
I have experimented with short travel for economy of movement, and long travel for greater expression, and arrived at a compromise which is what I imagine most folks do. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

On my Emmons push-pull, E9 tuning, the pedal travel (measured at the furthest point from the pivot) is just over 1/2 inch for the C pedal, and just under 1/2 inch for the A and B pedals |

As you see, Richard is more willing to do the measurements than I am.... _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!
