Rob Stein at Ashokan Western and Swing Week

It was recently announced that Rob Stein will be teaching lap steel at the Ashokan Western and Swing Week.

Does anyone have experience with Rob as a teacher?

I had a long phone conversation with Rob about Ashokan. He is very knowledgeable about non pedal steel, has extensive teaching experience and is committed to conducting a course that will be beneficial and fun for players of different skill levels. Rob will teach only steel at Ashokan. I am enthused, and will be there.
