I recently acquired a D-10 Fessenden. It came with a very heavy-duty case, which I don't require. I would not call it a "flight" case, because, as you see in the pics below, the latches, while extra sturdy, are not the locking/turning kind I think of on a flight case. Would be good if you are throwing your steel into a trailer or such on a regular basis or for other impact worthy scenarios.
Some scuffs and scrapes, but nothing noteworthy or immediately noticeable.
Internal dimensions are 32 5/8" x 10 5/8" x 5 1/4". These narrow part way down with ledges to hold up the steel. All in all it is a tiny bit too tight for a Sho-Bud Super Pro (because of toggle switch on end plate). I couldn't really tell you about other brands. Weighs in at 35 lbs.
Shipping would be pretty steep, I assume. I'm willing to drive to meet someone half-way within New England. I will be traveling to Nashville in early June, and could conceivably check it as luggage for less than it would cost to ship, for what that's worth. Will also likely be driving down to Philly some time in the next few months.
$75 plus shipping.
