I was in a music store I'd never been in today and lo and behold, they had a six string, two pickup Guyatone that looked brand new. I played it for a while unplugged and thought it was pretty nice. Then the shop keeper told me it was from the '60's. It looked like it'd never been played. It had holes bored out for leg brackets, but none were with it or in the case.
I didn't take any pictures, but could go back and take some if anyone is interested. He wanted around $300, as I recall. |

I bought that model Guyatone off eBay 5-6 years ago for $140. Very hot output but sounds OK. I do a lot of business travel and it fits in my suitcase so it's found a home here. Only dislike is that the tuner pegs interfere with setting it on a flat surface like a hotel room desk or table and I'm not partial to playing it on my lap. A little creative shimming takes care of that though. I'd buy another one for $150-175 but $300 is too pricey for me. |

I think it was a better guitar then the ones posted. I'll go take another look at it later in the week and take a couple of pictures. |
