Tuning E13 straight up.

So after using sweetened tunings

which are recording friendly.

I don't like the sound when playing on non-steel guitar modern recordings.

Everyone else is equal tempered.

So I'm going back to that for a bit to prep the ears.

I guess my findings are on Solo numbers Just temperament sounds great

Accompanied with keyboards Equal Temperament sounds crisper to my ear and more accurate.
