I had this in a NV112 and it sounded great, but then upgraded to a rack case with separate cabs. I have a new speaker gasket I put in the box with the speaker.

$125 shipped to CONUS

Interested. What is difference in tone quality between the original and the BW. I know the BW sounded good in my NV 400 and Session 500 I used to own.

I always wondered why Peavey did not put a BW in the NV112 in the first place.

Excuse me for butting in, I'm obviously not Steve but the rating is 350W continuous. Great speaker for steel guitar. Full specs. here: https://peavey.com/support/technotes/misc/blackwidow.cfm

This is the one. You can't get them anymore. I'd be tempted to buy it just for a spare if I had the funds.

From Mr. Larry Behm (who's much more of an expert than me):

I put BW 1203's in several N112. Increase weight yes, big sound yes, more efficient yes, lower the volume knob by 1 number yes, more mids yes, mileage may vary."

PM me if you're interested in the speaker.
Thanks,
Steve

Marty,
These are great speakers. I bought a couple of them from Murnel years ago and I used them extensively for a few years. They were the best 12 inch speakers I've used. They're the 12 inch version of the 1501 speaker but they sound much better to my ears than the 1501's with a tighter bottom end and clean but smooth highs. You won't be disappointed.
