After the snow I lifted this winter I wanted my revenge. The best way I could find was to turn my snow shovel into something I wanted to pick up and play with. I shortened the handle so I have 241/2 " scale length, used a P90 pickup, a length of 3/8 threaded rod for the adjustable bridge and nut. It sits well on the lap, no fret markers yet but it is good muscle memory and ear practice without them. I have never claimed to be sane and don't really want to be labeled as such - too much fun in this state!! I had and am having fun - hope you see the humor. Thanks Ray

I can't believe you would hack up a perfectly good shovel just to make a musical instrument. Shovels are made for digging and you have just deprived some gardener of the joy of using it for it's intended purpose. |
