This isn't a brand new song, but it's new to me. It has a laid back, Roy Orbison feel and is really slick. I think it's pretty remarkable.

The steel guitar hook is perfect. I looked up the album on Wikipedia and it doesn't list who the steel guitar player was. However, on the same webpage it says that Greg Leisz was a producer. I bet he did the steel guitar parts too. It has the same feel as his other work that I've heard.

I was able to see him in concert with Bill Frisell a couple years ago. At that time, I was a clumsy beginner on the instrument. His playing was so smooth and unobtrusive that I was dumbfounded by it.

An Artist unknown to me, but well worth a listen, well put together music with a big following by the looks of it.

James.

Greg has played steel on other projects of his so yes, it's a fair guess that it's him.

That's a great CD. I believe Lloyd Green plays on 2 songs.
