Hello from Victoria!

We ended up having a better turnout than I was expecting, due to some changes of plan and unexpected players showing up. Steelers: Roy Glaze, Craig Schmidt, Lee Barber, and me. Drums: Randall Edwards. Bass: John Sullivan. Acoustic Guitar: Kent Boyd. Vocals: Larry Shoppe, Kent Boyd, Roy Glaze, and me.

As promised, I performed my Dallas set. I was especially happy to have my mother, Esther Boyd and her twin sister, Ethyl Matulik, in attendance from a local nursing home. They both will be 90 years old in September. In addition, both of my brothers, my sister, my niece, and my former sister-in-law and husband were there. (Almost like a family reunion!)

Thanks to the Courtyard by Marriott for furnishing the wonderful conference room. We also had some of our opry-goers there. Thank you all.

Our next meeting wil be the Sunday AFTER Easter, April 23rd, at 2pm.
