How do you connect an extension speaker cab to a NV112?
Feel free to assume I am ignorant on the subject. |

The amp is maxed out already with a 4 ohm speaker. Can't add an extension speaker to it. You could use the preamp out and run another powered speaker cabinet.
Other option is to change the speaker to 8ohms and then add an 8 ohm extension cabinet for total load of 4 ohms |

Jim..I am using the Gallien Krueger powered 112 bass cab as an extension. The amp's input accepts a mic cord so I use the direct out on the 'Nashville 112' into the powered cab. Adds a bit more bottom end and considerably more volume...Note: I replaced the stock speaker with a Sica bass unit, improved the tone and lightened the load slightly(cab was fairly light to start). |
