I'm looking for a Leslie simulator other than the Boss RT-20. The boss effect is great but I don't like what it does to me signal when it's off.

Something with adjustable fast/slow settings and a ramp/acceleration control. Expression pedal input is desirable but not a must. What have you got?

How much do you want to spend?
I've got some fairly inexpensive ones to ones in the $300-$400 range.

Have you tried the two pedals that Electro/Harmonics makes? I have the B-9 Organ machine and the have one more. I love mine as it has some great settings. I can do the Procol Harem intro to "Whiter Shade of Pale" and the box makes my guitar sound exactly like organ on the record.....JH in Va.

Yes Jerry, I've got the C9 and just got a B9. That's why I want a better leslie sim, because I've been using them more. Erv, what types have you got and how much would you be willing to let go for? I know you just sold a ventilator, and that's what led me to posting on this particular forum.
Thanks,
Dan

Have you seen the EHX Lester pedals? They've got fast/slow settings, gain, and a ramp switch, but you cannot adjust the ramp speed.

I don't have one for sale, but I highly recommend the H&K Rotosphere. It's an analog pedal that emulates the Leslie amp with a 12ax7 preamp tube, has all the right controls and sounds great even through a single speaker. I've never noticed any problem when it's turned off. I use mine on any gig where organ sounds might be required.

Bob,that thing sounds awesome, I'll look into it.

Erv, what are you looking to get for each pedal? I'm buying a DLS Rotosphere from David but I'm always interested in too much gear.

I have a Line-6, Roto- Machine and Line -6 power supply, like new. I too was searching for a Leslie type sound that did not 'suck' the tone. This was the best I tried at the time. Unfortunately, the local opry gig I bought it for closed a couple of weeks after I got it. Been sitting in my closet since.

I'll sell it for a good price.

The BEST leslie simulator I used for ~ 15 yrs was the Tel-Ray organ tone, which used a mechanical drum enclose disc recorder rotating in a pool of lubricant (smelled like contaminated brake fluid) Could control the speed and depth.
And it did not suck the tone!

Thax,
Jim
