I have a 1990 zum steel d10 8x5 a foroum member told me to move the rods up 2 holes then retune my guitar does not have holes they are slotted with a pin through the round rod how do you remove the pins and do you move rod toward the guitar or the pedals there are two rods each is in a different slot. Thanks for help judd |

I'm just guessing at what you are trying to do, but if you want to move the rod to another slot on the bellcrank, just loosen the nylon tuning nut until you can move it. Be careful tuning it back up and sneak up on it so you don't overtune and break the string when you engage the pedal or knee lever if it is a raise. |

Always write down or take a photo of where the rod originally was so you can return it if you don't like what resulted. |
