EMMONS Push/Pull D10 8x4 Emmons set up pedals and levers. Wood Necks, Serial Number 2339L. The guitar has two tiny holes in the front Apron on right side, they are so small they will barely show in the front shot. The guitar has been in its case for over a year, so it might needs some adjustments after setting that long. As the picture show this is a very nice looking guitar. $2900 shipped to the lower 48 US States. Would consider trade Emmons Lagrande III or Zum D10's with 8X5 or more or SD10 5X4 or more. Accept payment by Money Order, Bank Check, Pay Pal (Family or Friends option only) Thanks Joey

I really like the inlay in the wood necks. I don't think I've ever seen that before on a mica guitar with wood necks, usually they're just plain black, very nice! Very Happy

I guess I'm really confused. I thought it was the protocol here on the Forum that if you sent a PM indicating that you wanted to purchase a guitar and posted that first in response to an ad, that you would be given a chance to purchase a guitar? Somebody please explain this to me because I THOUGHT I was first in line to purchase this instrument.

Gary - in my experience that is the case UNLESS someone else has contacted the seller before you but not necessarily posted on the forum that they've done so. So in essence - whomever CONTACTS the seller first would be the logical first in line. That's been my experience anyway. Somebody got a great deal on a beautiful guitar.

I thought it was common courtesy to post that you have contacted the buyer with "PM Sent" so that others don't waste their time and energy, not to mention start gathering up the cash to make it all happen. If I am selling something I post that there is a sale pending immediately so everyone knows what is going. Maybe I'm old fashioned but that seems like the courteous protocol to me.

I received a E-mail first,(not Through The Forum)
Stated I'll buy the guitar call me in the morning
and the deal will be finalized. I did just that, and immediately posted sale pending, then the money was send and I again immediately posted Guitar Sold, really don't see how I could handled any different!!

ERV, I hate to make anybody mad about a guitar but this is the system we have to work with. Some post on forum others do not, to each his own I guess. Thanks for the comments on the guitar. Take care Joey

Gary - some people prefer not to advertise what they are buying or selling and so use private communications, which I think is fair. Seems like Joey did this in a fair way, but I understand your disappointment!

Abe thanks for the comment. I have been in Gary shoes as most of us that buys on forum and it sucks but as long as there is multiple ways to get in touch with buyer this will happen from time to time.

Joey has great integrity and there's no doubt in my mind he sold to the first who committed to purchase. I'm sure Joey... as well as the rest of us...wish he had enough wooden neck Emmons for everyone! Winking
