Dave,

I saw the same show early Sunday morning, couldn't sleep. Caught the credits as they raced by, and saw Paul Franklin on steel along with the 'Players', but Tanya's steel guy was wearing a cowboy hat and playing another steel. Paul had a turquoise/blue Franklin, depending on the light.

Great show, and really good performances and backing band.

According to this excerpt from an earlier thread, it is Kevin Owens: I can post a link to the entire thread if you want.

Scott Shipley wrote:
Kevin plays the 63 Jimmy Day 'Bud pretty much exclusively now. That's the one he used on a recent session with me (Flowers). Killer tone.
And yes that was him playing with Tanya on the George Jones tribute.
Kevin loaned the red one to a friend a while back, because he didn't have a guitar at the time. The friend promptly sold it. I believe it currently resides in Northern Europa.

Craig, there is another mystery to solve.

Kevin did a great job, but I wonder why Paul Franklin didn't do that song with Tanya.

Mark, My assumption would be that she preferred to use her own guy. Maybe Kevin will pipe in.
