| Just bought the iRig Acoustic Stage system for my Weissenborns. It is a clip on sound hole mic and DSP unit. The advantages are that I can swap guitars quickly by removing and clipping the mic to the other guitar. The DSP unit has feedback cancel, volume, three tone settings for steel strings and three for nylon strings.The unit has a mix knob so you can plug in your under the saddle pickup if you have one and mix the sound with the mic. If you do not have a pickup in your Weissenborn, this is the thing to buy to be able to plug into an amp..My nylon string guitars sound better than they ever have as well as my ukes. For about the price of my Fishman sound hole pick up, I have something that makes my weissenborn sound warm and open. This is according to my old ears, you may hear something different... |
