I just scored one of these

It has a lot of different sounds and settings, more than we need. But after playing with the controls for a few minutes, I found one that (to my ears,) is perfect.

These things sell for about 50 bucks. It's a lot of reverb, for not a lot of money.

I have a couple of Behringer pedals that I find perform well above their price point. My Vintage Delay pedal has been with me for 8 years and sounds great. The plastic housing may not be as durable as metal but us steel players are not normally stomping on them all night long. That one almost looks like metal - is it?

Yes it is. It's magnetic.

I have a DR400 which is a bit like Mike's in that it does way more than anyone needs but is cheap. I also have a CS400 compressor. Maybe not as robust as more expensive brands but great if you want to experiment on a budget.
