Does someone know the steeler on this outstanding Stoney Edwards recording from 1971? Maybe Curly or Weldon?

'Could be Emmons. The playing is similar to Buddy's work on Roger Miller's 1970 album, A Trip in the Country.

It sounds quite a bit like an early Emmons to this old codger.
Jerry Byrd and others traveled to Los Angeles to make several great records with Jimmy Wakely in 1949. |

They are no musician credits on the Capitol Records album (as there were on popular records). Other tracks don't sound so much like Buddy, but I could be wrong.

As to what I know, Stoney Edwards cut records with numerous steel players including Weldon Myrick, Pete Drake, Lloyd Green, Jay Dee Maness and Buddy Emmons.
