I would like to find an 11 string ZB Custom. Single or double neck. I'm looking for a "project", not a beauty queen. But I do want all or most of the parts! Smile
Let me know what you've got stashed in the attic.
Email me through the Forum please.
Thanks,
Eric

I think Jim Palenscar has a D-11 in his shop.

Thanks Tom - I've seen that pretty one on his web site, and I'd consider it a beauty queen for sure!
I'm really looking for a fixer-upper project.

That ZB D11 in the shop has a plaque underneath that says "Built For Wally Murphy". I probably heard that guitar in the 70's at Scotty's ISGA Convention in St. Louis when Wally brought the house down with the William Tell Overture. Isn't it wonderful how things go around? Smile

Not today- but who knows about manana? Smile Things around here change on a daily basis. You might contact Ben Elder here on the forum as he sometimes has these around.

I can't swear to it but it seems to me Bobby Reed has a S 11 at his house. It's been a while since I was there but you can get hold of him and find out if it's still there.

Another bump..
Do you have beat-up 11 string ZB that needs a new home?
Single neck or double - as long as it has 11 strings!
Cool

I have all the parts to build a ZB 11 string except there is no body and only 1 new endplate that needs to have the tuner windows cutout so it is still optional if you want a D-10 or an SD-10. This in my opinion is even better than an old ZB in my opinion because the bottom half of the changer has brand new modern 2/2 changer fingers but the top half still is from the 1969 ZB in which the parts came from with the stainless steel finger caps so it still sounds pretty much ZB without the scrap metal yard underneath. I gutted a D-11/10 ZB to convert it to a modern undercarriage but decided to just make it a SD-10 instead so I still have all the 11 string parts which includes the changer and housing, maple neck and 11 string ZB headstock with original Klusons.
PM me if interested.

You're welcome! Just noticed it this morning and thought about you. Only been listed for 4 days and they might even take less for it. Goodluck!
