I guess if I had to narrow it down, it would be Soul Jazz. That is my comfort zone.

Soul is from your expression. Which you do very well.

In the old days, late 40s, & through the 50s, I played Country and some Hawaiian. After 40 years away from it, I just play Hawaiian and old standards, since about 1999.. I can't hack modern country stuff...

I chose Hawaiian, because that what I'm rehearsing most. But on live gigs it's more Western Swing / Country actually. I hope I can shift this more into Hawaiian in the future …

American Roots Music is how we bill ourselves. I checked Rock as the closest thing.
