Melobar CC-8 Cindy Cashdollar 8-string lap steel
With Sportslock gun case.
Very popular 8-string S-head guitar it went through similar body transitions going from the old LS body to the carved S-head and carved upper bouts with a side jack. 24" scale.
Built through the same era as the SLS and S-Head over two hundred were built through to 2000
Named after Cindy Cashdollar because Lawrence copied the tone of her guitars pickup
Guitar has a couple of bar nicks and some pick wear below the strings but plays and sounds wonderful.
Condition: 8/10
A bit of history here:
http://melobarted.blogspot.com/p/identify-melobar-models.html
scroll down, the CC-8 is mentioned just before Steinberger...
POSSIBLE TRADE OPPORTUNITY.
Fender Jazz bass or something of equiv. value (plus case) that has a maple or ebony neck. I don't care for rosewood.
Example: My son bought a Fender Jazz Bass MIM about 2 years ago and that would be perfect. Some of the Carvin 4/5 strings are nice as well. Let me know what you have.

I am seeing a lot of great deals pop up in the for sale section and I'm getting serious.
This is a great player and is awesome for PSG practice when your 10 string isn't close by.
Thanks for looking. _________________ Customer: "Waiter, how do you prepare your chicken?"
