Asher "Belly Bar" Kit?

So, I'm sitting here wondering if anyone has ever installed an Asher Belly Bar kit on to one of their old lapsteels? I have an Oahu Tonemaster that is NOT all original (had to basically replace all the guts other than the pickup, which is original). I am seriously considering adding a Belly Bar to it for standing play. At this point, I'm not afraid of any devaluation, and will in fact find it more valuable, at least to me. Smile
